Gather trash from garbage cans in offices and common areas; place in outdoor dumpster.
Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.
Respond appropriately to incidents and situations which require immediate janitorial intervention.
Dust/clean/polish furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, doors, trim, etc.
Set-up, arrange, and remove tables, chairs, and decorations for meetings, events, and other gatherings, moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness of grounds, including removing trash and other litter from sidewalks, walkways, parking lots, and landscaped areas.
Remove snow from sidewalks, walkways, driveways, and parking lots; scatter snow/ice melting product as needed.
Requisition and maintain inventory of supplies needed to carry out duties.
Notify supervisor in the event building/grounds require repairs or need attention outside the scope of this job description.
Display respectful and appropriate interactions with agency clients, visitors, and staff.
Other related responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Building and Grounds.
