Through use of trained skills not requiring a license, repair a variety of equipment which may include but is not limited to plumbing, heating, appliances, automotive, electrical, etc.
Plan routines to insure assigned area is maintained in accordance with standards.
Inspect and service equipment on preventative maintenance program. Recommend purchases of equipment or major repair services or services of outside tradesmen as required.
May purchase parts and supplies; securing approval on any major expenditures.
Operate and maintain heating and cooling system.
May be assigned other responsibilities, such as driving agency-owned car, or teaching skills to small groups.
Perform related duties such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, dumping garbage, washing walls, buffing and waxing floors, moving furniture, shoveling snow, keeping inventory of all supplies.
Required to carry a cell phone and will be on call 24 hours each day unless the Maintenance Supervisor is notified that you will be out of town.
May be assigned to move consumers personal property from one location to another.
Other related responsibilities as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or other Administrative personnel.
