Job Title: Employer Consultant

Supervises:
General Functions: Provide comprehensive consulting services to area employers to facilitate the successful community employment of people with disabilities. Services may include job site development, employment retention, case management, and counseling. Specific caseload and service assignments are based on individual and program need.
Specific Functions:

Function as the case manager of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) assisting the client in formulating their Individual Program Plan to reach his/her goals by promoting their full participation in the choice making process.

Conduct staffings with the IDT to evaluate and document the client's progress.

Provide assessment and follow-up support services on-site for individuals with disabilities and their employers to facilitate acquisition and retention of employment.
              
Develop relationships with community resources and employers in order to secure job placements and training, enclave, work crew, and assessment sites.

Act as the CSI liaison with all community sites.  Provide disability awareness services to appropriate personnel and facilitate natural supports at the site.

Assist employer(s) in providing a comprehensive orientation for each consumer at the community site.

Serve as RSA/MHP/QMHP for the planning and delivery of Medicaid mental health services necessary to the clients.

Maintain appropriate CARF, ORS, DMH, DDD, DPA, MRO and agency standards as related to Career Solutions program.

Perform any other related duties as assigned by Manager of Employment Services.


 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, rehabilitation, or related social services field preferred. High School diploma or GED & prior experience in community services will be considered. Driving record and auto insurance coverage in accordance with agency policy. A criminal background check and post offer drug screen required. EOE.
