Receiving Services at
Cornerstone
There are many options available to serve individuals with disabilities at Cornerstone,
from finding a job to learning to live on one's own, a staff of 350 possess the resources
and knowledge to make brighter futures for 675 people each day with the following
services:
- Residential Services
- From 24-hour supervision to Intermittent Community Integrated Living Arrangements,
Cornerstone encourages choice and independence in its residential alternative services.

- Career Solutions
- Recipient of the "Arc Best Service Award" in 2000 by the Arc of Illinois, and
ranked among the "Best of the Best in Illinois" for 1999 by the Illinois
Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, Cornerstone's employment services program works
with individuals to find and retain jobs in their own communities.

- Community Services
- Individuals who are not currently seeking employment can participate in Community
Services. Field trips combined with classroom training help individuals develop the
skills necessary to lead an active life in the community.

- Behavioral Health Services
- Cornerstone's nationally-recognized behavioral health services provide many options for
individuals with mental health issues, including outpatient counseling, psychosocial
rehabilitation, and community housing.
